Why We Exist
Most construction software reviews are written by people who've never stepped foot on a jobsite. They're generic, sponsored, or both. Most tool reviews are thinly veiled advertisements — the reviewer got the product free and conveniently loves everything about it.
TradeStack is different. We work with construction companies every day. We understand the difference between features that look good in a demo and features that actually hold up when a crew of 15 is relying on them. We know that a $300 drill isn't "budget" for everyone, and that "enterprise pricing" means different things to a 3-person remodeling crew and a 50-person commercial contractor.
How We Review Products
Software: We evaluate construction software based on documented features, verified user reviews from platforms like G2 and Capterra, publicly available pricing, and input from contractors in our network. We do not claim to have personally used every platform — when we haven't, we tell you and explain what our assessment is based on.
Tools & Equipment: We recommend tools based on specifications, manufacturer reputation, warranty coverage, and aggregated feedback from verified purchasers. We do not claim to have personally tested every tool we review on a jobsite.
How We Make Money
TradeStack earns commissions when readers purchase products through our affiliate links. This costs you nothing extra. We also accept free trials and demos from software companies — but we never accept payment for rankings, positive reviews, or placement. Read our full disclosure.

TradeStack is for contractors, tradespeople, and construction business owners who want honest, practical advice on software and tools — without the marketing fluff. If you're a solo electrician trying to figure out which invoicing app won't drive you crazy, or a home builder evaluating your first PM software, or a foreman who just wants boots that don't hurt after 12 hours — we're for you.
